FAQ

Everything you need to get the most out of LockNN.

Getting Started

  1. Download LockNN from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. On first launch, tap Continue as Guest to try it out, or sign in with Apple / Google to sync across devices.
  3. Guest mode keeps all your workout data on-device. You can sign in later without losing anything.

Start a Workout

  1. Open the Train tab and browse 50+ workout types -- from running and cycling to strength and HIIT.
  2. Tap a workout type to see details, then tap Start to begin your session.
  3. The live session screen shows elapsed time, calories, heart rate, and more. Tap Pause at any time, then Resume or End.

Live Tracking

  1. During a session, LockNN tracks calories burned, duration, and active time in real-time.
  2. If you wear an Apple Watch or compatible heart rate monitor, heart rate data appears live.
  3. For outdoor workouts, GPS tracks your route, distance, elevation, and pace splits.

Sets & Reps

  1. For strength workouts, tap Add Set during your session to log each set.
  2. Enter the weight and reps for each set. LockNN calculates total volume automatically.
  3. Your set history is saved and visible in the Workout Log for progressive overload tracking.

Workout Journal

  1. After ending a workout, you can add mood tags (energized, tired, strong, etc.).
  2. Write personal notes about how the session went.
  3. Attach photos -- selfies, gym setups, or progress pics. All stored securely on-device.

Your Workout Log

  1. Open the Log tab to see your workout history on a calendar view.
  2. Tap any day to see the workouts you completed, with full details.
  3. Swipe between months to review your training consistency.

Insights Dashboard

  1. Open the Insights tab to see charts, streaks, and personal bests.
  2. Weekly and monthly volume charts show your training load over time.
  3. Personal bests highlight your top performances across all workout types.

Apple Health Sync

  1. Go to the Me tab and enable Apple Health integration.
  2. LockNN reads heart rate, step count, and other metrics from HealthKit.
  3. Completed workouts are written back to Apple Health so all your apps stay in sync.

Smart Reminders

  1. Go to the Me tab and tap Reminders.
  2. Pick the days and times you want to be reminded to train.
  3. Notifications appear on your lock screen at the scheduled time.

MAXX Subscription

  1. MAXX unlocks month and all-time insights, advanced health metrics, full calendar history, personal bests across all ranges, and heart rate zones.
  2. Subscribe from the Me tab. Monthly and annual plans are available.
  3. To restore a previous purchase on a new device, go to Me and tap Restore Purchases.
